Reflective Verse #8 - 1 Corinthians 16:13

Reflective Verse #8 - 1 Corinthians 16:13

(To watch the video click on the thumbnail)

1 Corinthians 16:13 (NIV) says,

“Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong.”

Be on your guard - watch out for Satan, who loves to attack when we think we’ve got everything handled.  This verse doesn’t say to stand firm on your own strength - it says to stand firm in the FAITH, trusting in God’s strength, not your own.

Let’s not be like King Saul, who doubted God and God’s promises.  Let’s stand firm, be courageous, and be strong.

Take time to reflect on what God wants to say to you through this verse, both now and throughout the week.

God bless,

Jason & Heather Marshall
