Reflective Verse #5 - Matthew 10:28

Reflective Verse #5 - Matthew 10:28

Reflective verse #5 is Matthew 10:28. In it, Jesus says…

“Do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.”

This verse ties in to Episode #5, where Esther showed no fear of dying - just trust in her God. Just like Esther was willing to die if this was what God wanted her to do, so we must forgo our fear of man.

If your eternity is found with Christ, you have no reason to fear! When fear arises, say like Esther did, “If I perish, I perish.”

Trust God. Be in awe of Him who has the power to overcome our fears and lead us through our life & into eternity with Him.

Thanks for joining us… as always, we’d love to hear your thoughts on this verse & what God’s doing in your life to help you overcome your fears. Share with us via the comment box below!

God bless,

Jason & Heather Marshall
